BACKGROUND: In 1992 he
starts
to attend the courses of "Classical Piano", "Chorus
Singing" and "Musical Theory"
at the Academy of music "Cittā di Gorizia"
taught
respectively by masters Riccardo Radivo and Gianni del Zotto. After 4 years he changes his theory teacher and
starts to take lessons from Daniela Brussolo. In 2000 he decides
to give up studying because of personal matters and starts to play
"Rhythm and Electric Guitar" as a self-taught.
In 2003, after having joined "Overtures", he
resumes his studies at the RolandŽ Music School of Gorizia
attending the "Modern and Jazz Singing" course, taught
by Irene Pelihan and the
"Musical Theory" course taught by Patrick Magnarin. In 2004 he gets diploma in "Musical Theory" at the "Giuseppe Tartini" academy of music of Trieste.
In 2004 he starts to attend the "Complementary Harmony" course at the RolandŽ Music School
with Patrick Magnarin. In 2006 he is awarded as "best
male vocalist" at the "Mastro Rock" contest in San
Giovanni al Natisone (UD). In 2007 he attends some "Modern
Singing Masterclasses" with Michele Luppi (ex-Vision
Divine, Mr.Pig) from whom he also begins to take private lessons; in
the same year he gets diploma in "Modern Singing" at
the RolandŽ Music School of Gorizia and, after that, he starts to teach
both at the RolandŽ institute ("Modern Singing" and
"Musical Theory") and privately. In 2010
he attends additional masterclasses by Alejandro Martinez.
Since September 2007 he also collaborates with the Cittā di
Gorizia Civic Winds Orchestra singing as tenor in its choir.
Apart from Overtures, in 2003 and 2004 he is the lead voice in the
trash-metal band "Hammered"; from 2004 to 2006 he
figures as lead voice and rhythm guitar in the heavy-metal band
"Mindlbast". From 2007 to 2009 he joins "Rain",
Deep Purple tribute band on the stages from more than 20 years and
with whom Ian Paice himself played. In 2009 and 2010, he's one
of the lead voices of "Off & Brau Sisters", a
13-elements big-band based on the classical sounds of Hard Rock &
Heavy Metal.
